These are the announcements for the week of April 13th to April 17th, 2020
Thought of the Day:
“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” – William Arthur Ward
Think of three things that you are grateful for. How can you express that gratitude?
Welcome to Week 2 of our Learning@Home: Students are reminded to stay connected with their teacher and ask for help. Teachers have office hours which are the times that you can reach out and get support.
Birthdays: We’d like to wish a happy belated birthday to Alejandro, Nicole and Ms. Small and a happy upcoming birthday to Kaylee who will be celebrating her birthday this upcoming week!
Mrs. Shield’s Feed All Four Challenge: Go for a walk in nature and collect materials you could use to create a work of art. Take a picture of your finished masterpiece and share it on our Facebook OR Twitter page.
Mrs. Montgomery’s Reading Tip for the Week: Begin reading by exploring the cover of the book. While exploring, ask questions, such as –
Who is the author? What is the author’s job?
Who is the illustrator and what does the illustrator do?
Have a fabulous Week everyone! WE MISS YOU!
Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Happy, Be YOU! Make Every Day Count!
