On October 6, the Irwin Memorial Public School Parent Council hosted their annual Thanksgiving lunch – a tradition that has been taking place since 2017!
The incredible Parent Council cooked up aThanksgiving feast with all the trimmings!
With the goal of making sure every student received a big Thanksgiving meal, the Parent Council also ensured student helpers learned about the journey from food to table through the work, which included farming the items from the school garden.
Thank you, Parent Council, for creating such a special experience for our students and for encouraging us to pause, reflect, and talk about what we’re thankful for. Your generosity, kindness, and heart truly make our school community so special.
A HUGE thank you to Arrowhead Camp, Websters Beacon, Henrietta’s Pine Bakery Inc., Robinson’s General Store, and the Baysville Country Store for helping make this event possible.
