A free seven-session, evening program for mothers and their children aged 5 to 11 who have left an abusive home.
The Huntsville program will begin Tuesday, January 21 from 5 to 7 pm. The program:
- Helps children identify and express emotions related to family conflict and abuse.
- Safe and private setting.
- Topics include safety planning and healthy, non-violent problem-solving.
Transportation and child care assistance is available. A light supper will be provided.
